Introducing Aftab Hussain – Lecturer Computer Science at GDC Pithoro
Hello everyone,
I’m Aftab Hussain, currently serving as a Lecturer of Computer Science at Government Degree College (GDC) Pithoro, District Umerkot, Sindh.
I was recently selected as a Lecturer (BPS-17) through the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) after successfully qualifying the competitive examination for the post of Lecturer in Computer Science.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad—Pakistan’s top-ranked engineering university, consistently featured among the top 400 universities globally by QS World Rankings.
My professional background includes:
Software Engineer at Techlogix Pvt. Ltd.
Lab Engineer (BPS-17) at SEECS, NUST
Computer Instructor (BPS-17) in FGEI (Federal Government), selected via FPSC
Involvement in digital transformation projects at the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) using Oracle Digital Banking Experience (OBDX)
Over 4 years of experience in teaching, system management, and IT-based education
